Poole Food Bank+ charity provides food to the most vulnerable
Poole Food Bank+, provides food to the most vulnerable – to those who really can’t make ends meet and who, often, are at their lowest point. Not only that they provide support to those in debt, assisting with budgeting and also debt management and signposting to other services where needed.
Since the pandemic demand for food and support has rocketed. We feel it is very important to help our community where we can.
The team bring in cereals, pasta, canned goods and milk to help.
Harkwell Labels and the team deliver food parcels to the food bank a few times a year to try to help the needs of the local community.

DEMENTIA UK – TIME FOR A CUPPA

Dementia UK is a very important charity to us here at Harkwell. We all came together as a team to bake some delicious food to sell. The event was held in the on-site canteen. It was a good chance for us all to take part and talk about this great cause and how it has touched so many. Harkwell’s fundraising will mean that even more families will receive the life-changing specialist dementia support of an Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving the compassionate one-to-one support, guidance and practical solutions people need, and that can be hard to find elsewhere.
